Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Feature Rich ("Feature Rich", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use:

  • the website at feature-rich.com (the "Website"); and
  • the Wishlist Ranker mobile app (the "App"),

together referred to as the "Services".

Feature Rich is the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at support@feature-rich.com for any privacy question or request.

1. The Website

The Website is an informational, portfolio-style site. You do not need an account to browse it, and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics scripts on it.

We may process the following limited data when you visit the Website:

  • Standard server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and reliability purposes. We do not use this data for tracking or profiling.
  • Messages you send us — if you email us, we process your email address and message content to respond to you.

We do not set non-essential cookies on the Website. If that changes (for example, if we add analytics in the future), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (keeping the Website secure and functioning) and, for emails, taking steps at your request.

2. The Wishlist Ranker App

To provide the App's core functionality — creating wishlists and syncing them to your account — we collect and process:

  • Account information — your email address, and a securely hashed password if you sign up with email/password.
  • Sign-in via third parties — if you choose to sign in with Google (or, where available, Apple), we receive basic profile information from that provider (such as your name, email address, and profile picture) to create and authenticate your account. We do not receive your password for these providers, and we only request the minimum profile information needed to sign you in.
  • Your wishlist content — the lists and items you create, and the scores generated as you use the App, so we can display and sync your data across your devices.
  • Basic technical data — limited device and diagnostic information (such as app version or crash logs) if the App reports errors, so we can fix bugs.

Google user data

Wishlist Ranker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google account information to authenticate you and, if you grant it, to pre-fill basic profile details — never to sell it, use it for advertising, or share it beyond what is needed to operate the App.

Why we process this data

We rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to create your account and provide the wishlist syncing service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interest — to keep the App secure, diagnose bugs, and prevent abuse.
  • Consent — where you choose to sign in via a third-party provider such as Google.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, currently:

  • Supabase — provides our database, authentication, and hosting infrastructure for the App.
  • Google / Apple — if you choose to sign in with these providers, they process data as described in their own privacy policies.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data.

Data retention

We keep your account and wishlist data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and wishlist content within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and database-level access controls (row-level security) that restrict your data to your own account.

3. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or a jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@feature-rich.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

4. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the App or Website.

6. Contact us

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@feature-rich.com.
